another fine mess !

I installed my gforce MX 420 video card into my pc and i connected my monitor and tv up to it with the svideo out, running the tv.
I had no output to the tv and went into settings and clicked something and the output from the pc is on my tv, a bit blured though, How do i change it back to how I had it before ? The trouble is i can not/hardly read anything on the tv and can not find how i changed it before ? I want the same output on both monitor and tv thanks

I'm not exactly sure what you are saying, but I think you're talking about your resolution settings.

Right click on your desktop > click properties > then go to the settings tab. Thats where everything should be. Mess around a bit with it and you should be able to figure it out.

For dual screens, you'll see a 1 and a 2, those are your different screens. So click on 1 to change the settings on your primary screen and click on the 2 to change the settings on your secondary screen.

By the sounds of it, it also kind of sounds like you might of made your secondary monitor the primary monitor, which would put your desktop up onto the TV? You can change that around if you look right under the resolution settings, it should say "make this monitor my primary monitor" or something on those lines.

Thanks i managed to get it back to the way it was. It seemed i had turned off the pc screen and only the tv was getting the signal and it was so blurry that i could not read the settings, I got a 8 year old son who managed to read the very blurry writing in the settings thanks
