Cricket/Windows Live Messenger

Does anyone know how to send messages to cricket numbers on Windows Live Messenger? I can send messages to anyone's cell phone from my messenger except with Cricket apparently.

If its not possible, is there any other way? Maybe a different messenger that works or something?

I thought about that, but you can't receive. You can only give them your number so they can call you back.
