Black Nintendo Wii hitting the market!

From what I've heard, there are no plans at all for extending these black edition wii's outside of japan.

Which is fine with me. They get boring SO fast. At least, if you own one. They're really only fun once in a great while or every other day if your friend or family member owns one. At least, thats my opinion.

I did play quite a few hours of twilight princess though. I've also played Wii Sports for only god knows how long, simply because wii sports + friends +/- booze = loads of fun.

Ya; I found that the Wii was much more of a novelty than a game system. I'm still surprised they're doing so well :/

It's because they're marketing geniuses and there are still so many people out there who don't actually own one. Like I said, if you don't own one, they are still highly desirable. Its only when you finally get one that they start to lose their luster. Probably why they didn't mass produce it as much as other consoles do. Keep 'em hard to find and people will talk about them for a long time, which means one thing, cha-ching.

I remember before launch they said they were going to release a rainbow of them...

That said, I have a couple rattle cans and some masking tape. ;)

I'm all for multicolored consoles.. I had painted my old Xbox white, my roomate's 360 blue, and I'm considering wrapping my 360 in wood veneer. :D
