There is a way to move the music over, you have to turn the data storage option on then it shows up as an external drive then copy the music to your itunes folder and itunes should rename everything properly. But if you bought all you music then you should be able to retrieve it from the itunes store.

Why not choose "authorize this computer" from the store menu at the top? Then you can transfer your library from the ipod to that machine... right?
I could be misunderstanding this, but I'm pretty sure thats what you want to do..

Could be, I don't do a lot of buying just putting my CDs into the ipod so usually I just pull from the ipod when I need to do a reinstall or something.

for purchased music; open itunes, in menu, select "transfer purchases"
for copied music;
go to tools, then select "show hidden files"
don't allow auto-syncing of ipod by holding the shift key when you plug it in
open the ipod as external drive (usually E or whatever letter your up to)
open folder "ipod control"
drag and drop your music into your new computer
make sure it's all in your itunes, then re-sync
