i quit playing for like 2 years, i traded my account to a friend for a (non working at the time)laptop, and didnt have a character, i was burned out on the game and couldnt stand playing on my old pc.

times have changed, i have a new pc which i can max the game on and get steady max fps. and theres a ton of new content 2 expansions now, plus a huge patch today(3.3.0). I've been playing for a couple weeks, with my now 36 UD priest and actually having fun this time, maybe its because im not playing a hunter, but whatever...

anyone else play?

Goodbye my friend. Remember we will all still be here for you when you decide to come back to the real world.

Ahh, WoW Crack. Delicious. haha

I'm the same way. Totally burned out, have been for at least a year now. Haven't even really played Lich King. When my best friend comes back from over sea's, I think we'll start playing again. That's about... 5 years from now. It should be interesting. lol

Hahah.. wife and I quit about a year ago as well. I always said that it would take some huge world changing event to get me to come back.

Then they announce Cataclysm. Dammit.. I'll probably go back and play for awhile again once a date is announced.. I want to be in game when that happens!

My friend and i just started playing, he has to use my lappy though. So it's only fun to play with your friends.

I left after the Burning Crusade was released and haven't regretted it one bit. Do yourself a favor and get out now. Biggest time waster of all time, AND you're paying for it, wtf is that all about?

There's more important things in life than pixels, my friend.

Gaming is gaming. I say if you're enjoying it, play on! Just don't let it get in the way of real life.

I play but right now I have my account suspended because I've been short on funds to play. Once I have the extra $$ again I might start again. It was fun especially when I could get on at the same time as friends.

LOTRO here, and I play a character that's easily able to solo so I don't have to worry about raiding, etc.

I quit playing about 9 months ago or so. Friends have been begging me to renew, but I have no plans of doing so until just before Cataclysm. Then I'll renew, level a toon or two to cap, check out the end-game raids and cancel again. I had a couple 80s and almost a third as well as half a dozen other toons around 40-60. I typed /played to see my time log for one of my 80s and it showed almost 3 months of played time for just that toon. Even though that's spread out over several years, that's when I realized I was wasting my time. It's really only fun for me when I play with real-life friends...especially if we're all in the same room. It's also the most expensive game I've ever played...I don't even care to add up all the subscription fees and expansion prices over the years. As for being addicting...it's not. Players simply lose track of time and constantly get talked into 'one more run' by 1 of the 12-14 million other players.

Yeah I played back in 06-07 and haven't played since. I am tempted to play but I am to busy with real life.

I've resubscribed yet again a few months ago when I finally graduated college. Did a bit of raiding and explored new content, then got bored. I will probably cancel again soon.

What affects me most is that I only know one other person that can game 30+ hours a week, and hes not in a situation to be able to do so now. This leaves me to wander the digital lands and meeting random people. A shame that all the people I know in RL are married/have kids or just not interested in gaming.
