I was wondering were you get styrene and how to use it such as making stuff with it like in Crimson's lockheed project.

usually you can get it at places that sell model trains and such... HobbyTown is the first that comes to mind... if you search though I know you could find it a lot cheaper...It's still expensive as crap though.. :(

Thx man but i still don't know like how do you use it s it a solid or a liquid that you form or mold all i know about is is that crimson metioned it in his prject

its a solid sheet plastic--same material your monitor housing and cell phone are made from. www.usplastics.com sells it in big sheets.

I cut all mine with a hobby knife, or utility knife. But it can be cut with scroll saw or bandsaw as well. It's not real thick so the knives cut it easy.

To hold it together you can us CA (superglue) or Epoxy, JB weld, Gorilla glue...I'ves all of those depends on what I'm doing, how strong I need the joint, and how fast it needs to be dry.

It's super easy to work with very flexable (in the thinner types). You can also get it from your local sign shops, some places will give you the scarps for free, other @ a discount, but most of them will order a whole sheet or two for you as long as it not for makeing signs. You can get it from 0.02" thick to 0.5" (I think), and it comes in 4'x8' sheets like plywood! if you order a whole sheet.
