So, seriously considering putting my 28GB of mixed format music (4 years of collecting) into long term backup and getting a spotify premium membership for my new smartphone and my PC.

The free service just won't do because I need offline capability.

Anyone use it? Love it? Hate it? Swear by it? I'd love to know what real users' experiences are.

Whats it cost?

Might be cheaper to get a $4 month 250gb hosting account and just throw them on the server.

£10.. almost 20 USD

But it means I can legally store over 3,000 songs a time and have unlimited use of millions more. I just get sick of not having new music sometimes, and this seems like a nice, cheap legal compromise that syncs the music on my phone with my computer automatically, WITHOUT risking losing anything...

It's all 320kbps too, and I'm lucky if my current stuff is more than 128...

Well i've been banned from rapsody music service.

Boy i tested there "unlimited music downloading" apparently....cause they said they were discontinuing my service a couple months ago.

I went for it in the end, it's not going to replace my mp3 collection but it IS awesome. Any music you ever want, legally streamed anywhere? Amazing.

20 bucks isn't bad only if you had put lot of time and money on downloading all this data but i will suggest you to either just buy a ebook or external hard drive of 1 tb or what so ever you want and throw all your data in it.
