For my wife, not you.
Seems her nearly 90 year old grandmother decided to give each of her grandchildren $5,000 each (five total = $25K!) as long as they spent it on something important, not booze or whores.
We already had our new kitchen countertops, range and oven (About 3K) on order so we could tell her that's what it went towards.:whistler:

I came to this thread thinking well....nevermind. It was too good to be true. :D
Take pics of the before and after!
I feel you are hinting to buying a new computer :whistler:

ya free money is nice. my mom got $20,000 (along with 23 other nurses) from a patient she used to administer (think thats the proper word) chemo drugs to. and that was over 10 years ago that she did it. he died a year ago now i believe.
is her grandma still alive or just being ultra nice all of a sudden?

Still alive. She's pretty well off. A millionaire? Maybe. She definitely has a bit of cash lying around with no use....
She probably wants to make sure that she has some say so as to where her money goes, before she passes and it goes everywhere...
I wish I had rich family. Hell, my mom asks me for money....
P.S. Aren't seven computers enough for one home?

Nope :) you can never have too many computers. I'm at 8 that run (not all of them are on all the time).

9 puters here and they all serve a purpose and get used on a pretty regular basis as well. Surprisingly, my power bill is only $60 a month.
