Why anyone would want this over a netbook is beyond me. Could you imagine trying to carry this thing around to school or in a briefcase? Why don't they just squeeze a projector into a netbook?

I'm not sure if it's real or not or if it will ever come out but it seems like something that someone here on the forums would mod for FUN, not for convenience.

The shape is very inconvenient. I kinda like the idea with the keyboard though. As for the screen, I don't think you can get the same result with a projector as with a real screen, especially if you're using it in a bright environment.

While the shape may seem inconvenient, I think we may see more and more things like this. People tend to think only two dimensionally, and make things square to one another. This, in reality, is not an effecient use of space.

The thing with square objects is that they stack so nicely. Look at your computer and imagine that it's spherical. Wouldn't that be a bit of an inconvenience?

Cool concept, but the shape isn't greatly thought out. A better idea might be a cylinder, say roughly the size of a bottled water or pepsi bottle.

Personally I think requiring two clean flat surfaces limits the use of the computer. Instead I could see adding projection screen and keyboard to an existing smartphone type device with a full power cloud OS on top of the smartphone OS would give the most versatility. So you have a smartphone, but if it's convient you could project a screen, keyboard, or both. And connect to a more powerful system/storage over the internet.

I'd use it for hacky-sack

It's cool-looking but impractical.
