Graphics aren't everything. If you feel they are, then that is what you are missing.

The game isn't for everyone. I find the mechanics fun and interesting, and is why I started working on a game of a similar vein. Admittedly it is a niche game, as many indie games are, but it is currently a very large niche. Try it out, you may find you like it.

But in all honesty, if you are one that graphics trump gameplay then you will most likely hate it.

This is also reminiscent of the good old, '90s games.
Where there was no clear objective, and when there was, you spend HOURS beating the game.
Ah... While there isn't a MC for Sega Genesis, it still is a fun timekiller.
