View Full Version : Micron Millenia cases.....
(wasn't really sure what section, as I'm not actually selling anything right now)
I'm sure you've all seen ModCron, and I know some of you have wanted one for yourself.
Well, for a while now, I've seen a few of these cases at a local thrift shop.
On average, they're ~$20-30 for the case (and heavily outdated board).
(I've even seen the microATX version of the case)
If I ever see one again, who would be willing to go through the hassle of shipping and paying for the case?
I promise, I will not mod the case itself. I may take the HDD out, mainly because I don't think it'll handle the rough shipping.

I have one in my storage room. I keep wanting to do a retro-mod to it. All legit to the period, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
I know you do, d.
Just asking everybody else.

I'm just saying that because it's an awesome computer. Other people here should consider getting one. I'm thinking I'll do it with the studio computer so it looks like an old piece of junk when really it's a modern PC. The case has aged really well and has lots of nice features on it.
It even has extremely advanced ventilation, especially for its time.
It has a TON of room, and there is the possibility of routing cables through the right-side plate.
I can't do it because I'm putting in an LCD.

Perhaps you could ask him what he wants for just the case.

I know its not a millenia, but I think I can fit my whole house in it...LOL
You want big?
1: The Cooler Master Stacker series.
2: Didn't someone build a case a year ago about the size of 4 gun safes?
For $20, I'd say grab it and MOD IT!!!

Mithril was over 5 feet tall. I'm looking at cases right now that could swallow some of the "big" cases out there. I like big cases.

OK, he's reduced that case to $40. Still not worth it, IMO.
I'll leave these here....
