My gaming rig: New Genesis is having issues with the internet. A lot of the time when I turn it on it connects to my network automatically, but not to the internet. New Genesis is plugged directly into my router 6 feet away via CAT6 cable (I just bought a brand new cable today to be sure).
My Commodore is 3 feet away from the router and also using CAT6, it has no problems at all. I also bought a new Intel NIC hoping this would resolve the problem. The card installed fine, but connecting the cable to the new card gives me no internet at all. Oddly enough I think my internet signal through the onboard may be better with the new card installed (that I'm not using).
I went to Speedtest.net on both machines and this is what I get for the Commodore:

And then with New Genesis it took several minutes of the upload waiting to connect before I got this!

My upload speed is in the toilet! Those two pics above had been taking a few minutes to upload to photobucket so I cancelled and did it on the Commodore.
I checked my Windows firewall against the Commodore and they're the same. I'm running Windows 7 Pro on both machines and I'm only using Malwarebytes and Windows Security Essentials.
I even tried using Chrome and it makes no difference
