You should get some little hinges and put a little plexi door on there, with a Handle.

well considering i hate ipods thats nice how its built in. you should do the plexi door as mentioned above and also cover up the sides. or sand some plexi and put it there and have the blue led make it glow.

bondo the front of that case and make the bottom part look like the touch pad on a ipod. so its a ipod in a ipod. if you post a picture of the full front of your case i can paint it.

That's a nice idea and looks pretty good. Just a little more work to tidy up the details and you'll have a very sweet, yet simple mod.

If you don't want a door on it just smarten up the sides a bit. Nice job maybe also stealth the led's by having them sitting behind the ipod so the whole ipod is backlit in blue.
