hey ok so im building a liquid cooling system in my new pc and i had this idea (im already building the stuff now but) like in the future i though hey i can get the water cold without getting a TEC plate near my mobo/cpu etc etc..by like mounting the TEC on the resovoir (the cold side that is) and on the hot side place a north bridge heatsink with fan, what do you guys think, if its totally stupiud just tell me thanks,

I was thinking of doing the same thing, and I was reminded of a water cooling rule.
When the water temperature drops below that of the ambient temperature condensation occurs.
Then you run the risk of water droplets finding there way onto your electronics for an inevitable fizzle fry. .

I purchased a TEC for this purpose. .and a socket 775 Processor Heatsink
was not nearly enough to produce the icepelt. .or any temperature below 43° F with 5v or 7v
at 12v the entire thing just got extremely hot. . what a waste!

Here is the Link (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9127&highlight=TEC) to where I experimented with a TEC

If you want to cool the water. . check out the Water Cooling Turbine (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9129&highlight=water+cooling+turbine). .Now that thing has some potential!
