well...if i didnt already have enough irons in the fire... im starting another project...but should be just a quick one

im needing a case for my HTPC and i had a kenwood reciever not being used...so i figured what the hell....lets mod it:twisted:

so lets get this party started eh?

got the switch plate mounted back up

thats it for today...tomorrow i think ill be making my mobo mount and some other parts

maybe add a white or yellow led in each window, thats if it doesnt have built in lights already.

Are you going to re sand the kenwood metal front?

i already know how im gonna light it...gonna use blue leds

as far as sanding the front down...i dont know yet...i may keep it...or a i may get it custom printed on the front...still up in the air at this point

Looks like a pretty solid piece to start with. It definitely needs a KNOB..

ive already taken a powermate into consideration...thats another part ill have to order

there wont be any watercooling in this one...too cramped inside of it for it

but the cooling will have custom parts of aluminum of course :D
