    Mmm... Rayman Raving Rabbids 1 to 3 saga are very fun. 1 is single player but it's the funniest. 2 and 3 are multiplayer with up to 4 players at the same time.

    Debian is more or less the best for me. Then, you can pick Mint or Ubuntu (or Fedora), overall for newbies came from windows.

    Lastly I'm working with Arch Linux and I'm very happy about it.

    Yoy can use gnome network manager or WICD to manage your wifi networks. Also you can edit /etc/networks/interfaces.

    Also check router config, maybe DHCP is disabled.

    I have 3 distros running:

    Main laptop: Linux Mint. It's better with newer drivers and updates management than Ubuntu itself.
    Main desktop: Ubuntu. I don't know why I'm still keeping it... But...
