well, theres something I didn't know. Cool to know if i need AA and only have a 6volt around i will be able to use whatever i wanted to use!
Wow... is that nuts or what? That'll be good to have in mind for when all I have are those things and no AAs... or do I?

The idea is that if you need AA's, just buy a lantern battery instead of buying a 6 pack or w/e they come in.

I haven't looked at the price of those 6volts at the store recently, because they are hot hardware deals I must assume they are much cheaper than the AA.
Now that I think about it, the last time I bought one I was in 6th grade, soooo that was...like 9 years ago. But i think one was like $5.95 or something, so I guess that would be a great deal. A 4pack is like $5 or something rediculous.

Now I have to wonder about the quality of the AA's that you pull out. Anyone here tried this? How do they compare to good brand name AA's?
