    Default 5.1

    what kind of 5.1 theater setups do you guys use? It'll be for my TV and PC. I want it to be loud; 100dB loud, with not too much bass, but enough for rap songs. Any good suggestions?

    Well those are nice for computers, but I'm using it for games too on the TV. I was considering upwards of 800 watts too. You know, loud.

    I run a 2 channel system with 15watts / side, and its plenty loud.

    I say get a receiver and speakers rather than an integrated or box system. You can upgrade one piece at a time later on, and have no compatibility problems.

    I actually use a 7.1 for my home theater, but It is a

    Specs:
    Yamaha Receiver (110W per channel I think)
    Left||Center||Right Channels: Automotive Speakers

    Middle Surround Channels
    RCA (100W Max I think)

    Rear Surround Channels
    Bose (100W Max I think)

    Subwoofer
    Again...Automotive (2x 12" Solobarics(squares) at 1200W Max)) w/ 2channel 2000W amp with separate bass control.

    Sorry, but I'm not at home at the moment and don't remember the exact specs. The front speakers are part of a home made Entertainment center which consists of (left and right channels) 2x 8" woofers and 2 super tweeters, (center channel) 4x 4" 2ways. This setup has plenty of sound for your 100+ decibels. I have been able to rattle the upstairs of my house and make the lights flicker with this system as well has getting crystal clear mid's and high's... I love it! If you want I can get more details, but you are probably not looking to build a setup.

    Sounds good, but yeah I rather have an already complete throw together system.

    No problem, what is your price range? I am pretty into stereo systems and think I have some good taste.

    You have my vote and 100% full approval for the Z-5500's. They are extremely loud, extremely clear, very high quality, and did I mention they are extremely loud? This bass can be insane at times but you can turn it down to decent levels.

    As I said, I 100% recommend these speakers.
