    Default Test PSU

after looking at the Nintendo Wii remote white board mod and successfully recreating it i decided i would get rid of all the wires i had on my spare/testing psu and make it much neater to carry around. Note: i used it to power the IR LED in the pen for the white board mod.

i didn't have the camera while i was desoldering/cutting/resoldering the wires but i have the final shots. well the final shots for now, i plan to change and add some more things after looking at it some more. anyway here are the pictures!!

it's bolted sideways because i'm cool like that, hehe, also because it was the best way for the wiring. i couldn't figure out a way to get the molex plugs to stay so i made it a tight fit and hot glued it in place.

i was going to run the wires right into the box but i couldn't find a project box big enough. in fact i couldn't find one at all so i used a old alarm box.

i added a red power switch just for the fun of it

i added a specific plug in for the IR pen LED. everything else is a normal molex plug. i plan to re open it at change the floppy drive cables to two 3.3v plugs so i can test leds.

and no, i didn't buy this premade from radioshack, but thanks for thinking my work is that good

Im sure they would charge an outrageous price for it.
I've always hated psu's just because they are so ugly, big, and look like they're giving birth to a squid.

    nice work
