The coolest free web development tool ever...

I didn't know where to put this but I had to share.

I just found the greatest free web development tool ever.

It's call the Web Developer's Toolbar for Firefox.

It's amazing. It tells you everything about a webpage your on. You can put the cursor on anything and it will tell you exactly everything that's affecting it. Like which CSS stylesheet, which lines on the stylesheet, what other files like language or whatever, it's all there.

This is where it gets wicked. Then you can edit it right there to see how it looks.

Pretty amazing.

Also there is another plugin called ColorZilla that tells you exact what color the cursor is over. This is also tremendously helpful.

I just though if there were any other aspiring web dev guys here like myself they would like this.

Yeah SgtM showed me web developer and I agree that it's awesome, I've been using it ever since. I'll have to check that colorzilla out though, sounds cool.

I've had plenty of late nights. Trying a color for the 100,656th time, then uploading, then refreshing.

I don't think you ever get much better at web dev just more efficient.

There's another one I've used also, can't remember the name right now though. Basically, it let's you put together a color scheme and you can compare things before actually implementing it.

Web Developer Toolbar is especially useful for working with poorly coded Joomla templates. SgtM posted a video of a guy using it to work with Fireboard and Joomla, and it's pretty awesome.

I use colorzilla all the time! It is very handy.
