Default Latest: Water Nymph - Cymae 3D and Art Thread

Ok, I've decided to turn this thread into a general art thread to show off some of my stuff as I make em without having to do a new thread every time

I did this a little while ago, it's my first organic work and I'm very happy with how it came out. I'd love some opinions though

Mary had a little lamb. It bumped into a pylon. Ten thousand volts went up its arse and turned its wool to nylon!

Looks good.. the only critique I could add is that the imperfections on the arm look good but it may be just a little too glossy. I think if it were more matted it might retain a cartoonish look with just a little more reality to it.

This is a render I did quite awhile ago, but I am very happy with how it turned out

Model I made during an Internship at a 3D Production house. They make cartoons for television. This is the first and ONLY thing I've done in Autodesk Maya. I had no reference materials and absolutely no online help, Seeing as i'd never touched Maya before, I don't think I did too badly

This is a little portal wallpaper I made, I can re-render if anyone would like a specific size to use

I made this one awhile ago as a gift for my granny

This is the Space Organ. I havn't QUITE made a scene this fits into, but it's damn cool on its own.

And Cymae FM, a traditional wooden radio:

Here's a render I did last week, I took our company logo and made it into 3D:

    New Render: Joker Card

Done in 3DS Max with VRay, this will be a part of an upcoming trivia night, I'm doing the designs for it

Stay tuned, this will be updated a lot this week as I make more trivia night renders.

I think a large 4:3 Companion Cube render (1600x1200 would be nice, but 1280x960's fine) would go over well.

With me, at least. Lovin' your work - bit of a shame the radio can't be rendered any larger, though.

Gee, it damn sure took me long enough to find and add the origin of the first quote...
