Question three monitors? (video card question)

im planning to set up a triple LCD setup

my mobo has 2 PCI-e slots and currently ive got one 8800 GT in there, that'll work for 2...but what are my options for a third?

ive got an extra old 7600 kicking around, could i throw it in the other slot and be able to run another screen off of it?

    @ SgtM: lol

on a related subject...I've got 3 outputs on my ATI card. a VGA, an s-video, and a DVI. I'm currently running 2 monitors, one off of VGA and one off of DVI. Can I hook a third (like my tv) to the S-vid?

As far as I know, No.

The reason being that the Svid output is usually cloned off the VGA.

I have 2 DVI ports on my 8800 and an S-video, and windows only sees two outputs.

you have to have something plugged in at both ends of the s-video cable for it to be detected. Even then, you might have to use 'force rigorous detection' in either catalyst or the nVidia control panel.

Nvidia in their recent drivers enabled multi-monitor support for SLI setups. So I'm not sure how worth while a device like that would be in this situation.
