    well i've had two AGP 6600GT 128MB's that failed after about 4 years of use.

    probably time to purchase another.

    Ati makes some insane AGP cards these days.

    Yeah, but are they free? Just kidding, I only say that because I got this card for free (to see if I could get it to work). Its no big deal, but thanks for all of the recommendations.

    maybe a bios/firmware issue? try reflashing it with the latest firmware and maybe that will fix it.
