    Default Bloody Babe!

    Project: Bloody Babe

I sure you've all seen the pics and idea in the chit chat section, so here we go:

I printed the picture onto the decal paper using the transparancy setting on my colour laserjet:

then i assembled all my equipment:

    Taken apart and cleaned:

and the unwritten rule of the cat picture, say hello to Esso:

and SGTM's advice about crices was well founded, i tried to smooth them out, see the end result at the end:

    the end result:

Not as good a quality i wanted, but not bad for my first attempt with such a complex shape to cover, next time im gonna use a clear decal so the creases wont be so visable, also the scratches shouldn't be as noticeable, Oh well, not bad for a test run.

    Thoughts?

Honestly for a first try, that's not too bad. Its not great though IMO.

Have you looked into having it dipped? http://www.hydro-dip.com/

I'm not sure how much this costs. cut it will certainly give you the results you want.

JESUS thats expencive, good but a little costly.

I know its not exactly what i would call good, but i hope to get better over time. might look into doing a mouse with less curves, like a microsoft intelipoint. also use clear transfurs, and maybe not cover the whole thing, just put like a logo on it

I think it's pretty cool, the cratches give the mouse a funny texture that fit's into the theme

Looks freakin' great for being the first time!!!

You might look at using adhesive vinyl backed instead of decal transfers. That way you can maybe use a little heat to stretch it if needed, and reduce some of the creases as well..

yea, went looking at mice today, to find one that should be fairly simple to do, and i agree next time i will use vinyl and see if thats any easier,

it looks good, one thing to do is maybe take a permanent red marker and color in where the creases are white to make it less noticeable as well
