Default short review of my latest projector, the aaxa p4 pico

Just got this in the mail yesterday and haven't had time to FULLY test everything but so far I am veryy excited. So far i just played a few short clips of jersey shore on it LOL. yess its a very entertaining show even if it probably makes me dumber by watching..
Thought I'd share a couple pictures i snapped really quick of the aaxa p4 in my room. As i use it more ill take some better pictures.

Loaded up my media files on a micro sd card and slid it in. It was pretty simple , basically plug and play. the keyboard they sell for $49 makes the projector even easier to. I've yet to play with the windows ce part of the projector but its supposed to be able to play all the MS office files like word, excel, and ppt. I personally will be using this mostly for picture sharing/ movie watching, but I'm sure a lot of people will get this projector just for that feature.

unfortunately my camera makes all the pictures look darker and doesnt pick up all the colors correctly. The room and picture actually MUCH brighter than the pictures look. the color reproduction is great. ill try to get some more pictures and even movies when i have a chance hopefully this weekend.

Pictures of my dog (pom/poodle mix) in case anyone is wondering.

IMAGE SIZE about 55-60 inches. You can judge yourself by looking at the door on the side

Specs on this projector are 80 lumens, battery powered, some type of led technology. you can read the spec sheet yourself if you are interested in getting a pico at http://www.aaxatech.com/store/produc...ctor_store.htm

haha we all wish everything in the world was cheaper.. but it is what it is. Compared to other pico's I think the p4 is priced very cheap.
The optoma pk301 is 50 lumens and $371.77 at amazon
3m's Mpro 180 is 32 lumens and $375 at amazon.
at $339 the aaxa p4 is brighter and cheaper.

i guess in the end you're paying for a "brand" sticker. I'm pretty happy with my aaxa pico and from the pictures you can see its got some pretty nice projection ability.

People are doing way cooler stuff with their AAXA P4's than me. I'm just boring presenting indoors and watching movies.
these guys did a pretty nice review and comparison so you can see the difference between a 50 and 80 lumen projector.

I'm glad i got the 80 lumen looks so much brighter than the 50.
