    Yeah, that was me. I spoke to a rep and they couldn't tell me why IIS wasn't installed by default on a Linux hosting package. Baited question I know, but they should have known the difference.

    I use godaddy and either zoneedit or my own bind server for dns.

    Zoneedit supports dynamic dns to and offers you like dns for two domains free I think.

    Don't use 1&1 they are awful read around online
