emailed you the info
I would love to order a few but I have no idea which design I'd like.
Design your own. That's the whole point.
What's your case theme?
yeah of course I would do it myself, I am pretty good with that sort of stuff.Originally Posted by xmastree

ive got autocad but im not that great at using it, i like your designs and that laser cutter does a really sharp job of cutting things out.
Im wondering, to help people out, are there templates available of the different size grills that people can open in cad or a similar program, edit with there own design and then send to you?
Id like to make one myself (a template for people) but im not too hot on cad (getting better though)
Cheers
no cad templates that I know of. pretty much just draw them from scratch
What about my speaker grill? I don't have any CAD program, I made those images in inkscape (SVG editor). What I need is a ring, 8.1" OD, 7.3" ID, 8 holes on a 7.8" PCD and the miata logo across the middle.
I can make a PNG or SVG file, but I don't have any CAD software here.
I'm also very interested in having two thin disks made, but they are not for computer cases. I need my company logo and names on a 0.8mm metal, 2" - 2.5" inch disks for this:

I don't have access to a CAD software, but can you work from a high res B&W image? Say, 2000x2000 ? I'm sure you could easily extract paths from this...
Thanks!

It looks like FYR a few posts up is willing to help out or you can contact "butress" on the gruntville.com forums. he's helped quite a few people out for me. Other options would be to get your hands on acad, sketchup pro5 or many other programs that can export to dxf.
Both of these projects are pretty simple but again I'd rather not do them from an image file.
