Music software-themed mod?

I'm probably now obsessing over it, but I've actually had this idea for a while.

You probably know about my love with MadTracker.
(most user-friendly tracker I've tried so far.)


Now I want to make a mod based on the software.

How about where parts of the case will operate the software? You could "play" your case.

Definitely need to do some enhanced lighting that will change along with the music. And a halo effect of RGB LEDs behind the monitor that will also sync up with a good Winamp vis plugin.
