Default Question on wiring and lighting

I have a few questions about wiring. Part of my goal for my first mod is going to be wire management. I want the inside of the case to be as cleas as possible and I know this will require some careful wire management. Now looking at my current PSU and the wiring for it, I noticed they are not the longest wires around.
I am wondering what ya'll suggest for either extending the wires or other options to help manage the wiring. I do plan on using wire sleeving also. If you do recomend wire extension, what are some good places to look for wire.

I am also hoping to work some lighting into the case. Looking at probably using LED's unless you have a better suggestion for a 1st timer. Also, do you know of any good tutorials for wiring the lighting into the PSU?

Hey Zeus, I don't have the case I plan or modding yet. I am still in the planning stages. I don't want to invest any money till i have all my ducks in a row. But I can give you some information.
Here is the hardware I am looking at:
Case - Lian Li PC-61 Aluminum Computer Case - BLACK
    PSU - Thermaltake PurePower 480watt
    Motherboard - DFI

If yall have any suggestions on other possible PSU that may be better please let me know

If you want a pre-modded psu look at a Thermaltake Butterfly http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817153012

The cables are sleeved and there are colorchanging lights inside of it, which is the reason for the lil window.

@Valkerye: I personally woulnd't go with a really nice case if it is your first time modding, becasue chances are that youll botch something up (I'm planning my first mod, and I'm gonna get a $40 case)

If you really wanna keep your case clean and tidy, i'd suggest a modular PSU
U only plug in the cables that you use... all the others can be removed from our case completely.
    One such as this...

also on sites like Xoxide i'm sure.
