I need help on deciding between these two CPU's. They both have 4M cache which is a HUGE plus! Both are SUPER OC capable but the 6420 costs about $40 less.
So which should I go with?

Mother board: EVGA 680i SLI ATX. E6600 CPU: OC'd 3.4gHz. Vid Card: BFG 8800GTX OC'd version (2000 mhz)
H/D: Raptor 10,000rpm 150 gB Mem: 2 gig OcZ
PSU: Thermaltake 750W
Cpu Cooler: Zalman 9700. Thermalright VGA cooler. 20.1 LG widescreen
Think about how much time you're going to be spending on the pc, and you'll prolly find that that $40 is worth it.
The E6600 never fails to get great reviews and great user satisfaction.
I've never heard anyone even mention the E6420....

I vote for the E6420 and then overclock it.
go with the e6400. You can OC it and get better results and power than the e6600. Look on Ebay too unless you live out of California for NewEgg.
For $40 and the hardware you have in your sig go for the E6600.
