i'm mostly saying that since i will be spending a good 3000+ on my first one. i don't want to have to buy a new one but who knows, i probably will.

if you mean the power supply.... doubt it, though you wont have to upgrade from a 1600 watt power supply for a longggggggg time I'd give it till 2012

but if you mean that system (your dream) I highly doubt it will last 5 years... much less 10. Graphics cards are created so fast nowadays that we could get an 8800ultra and by 2012 that may very well be minimum spec for the newest games

With that many amps going through a standard outlet, do you think that would trip a circuit breaker? I wonder how many amps they're rated for too.

And talk about high power bills...a single PC shouldn't use more power than washers and dryers.

it has to do with the transfomer i think. even todays psu's draw at least 15 amps. plus all the other stuff on the circuit, speakers, monitor, etc.

Ultra is getting WAY ahead of theirselves. 2000w psu?? C'mon no one needs that much power, unless you are gonna build your pc "mac style" and make it a pc/washer/dryer/cell phone/tv/suv/stealth nighthawk fighter jet. :p ok so I got a little carried away

and i thought i was getting the none DxX version but it turned i got it for the same price!

and what is the RPM from the fans on the psu?
