    Default Dirt

    If any of you liked Forza2 you will love Dirt. It would be especially good if you have a steering wheel.

    I have the DiRT demo, and it's amazing. Definitely gets my vote.

    I've been playing it for a while today and it's awesome! Way better than Forza2 because the terrain is more interesting.

    Wow. I just downloaded the demo and I am in love. The trailers did it no justice (I watched several). The visuals are beautiful on PC, photo-real a good portion of the time. This is the first game so far that completely owns my computer at full res/graphics. Avg of 5fps full graphics @ 1680x1050. Check out my specs in my sig; should I be running it faster? Regardless its time to finally get the 8800GTS! Back on topic, I didn't think I'd like rally/off-roading racing games but this is different, very fun!

    EDIT: +rep for informing me there is a demo, Mitternacht

    I was thinking the same thing with 13-17fps at those settings. The best part is newegg stopped selling my gpu. The bfg tech 7950gt. whats up with that?

    EDIT:: Nvm, they put it back up. Weird... they took it off the site for 2 weeks or so and put it back on? It wasn't out of stock either. wtf?

    I just downloaded the demo and gave it a whirl. First I set it to 1280x1024 ultra settings. That sucked. Got maybe 1 fps. Changed ti to high with the same resolution, got maybe 10 fps. Then set it to medium and it is playable. Looks like fun, and when I have time I will try it at home, although my machine at work is way better. Here are my system specs;

    Dual xeon 5160 @ 3.0 ghz, 4 mb memory, ATI X1650 w/512mb

    I can run splinter cell double agent on this system at max setting with no lag at all. Have not tried any other games yet.
