What on earth are you doing with that toaster?
Please be very careful, electrical safety is nothing to play with.
That thing could burn your house down if you're not careful.
Ouch!

Thank you for the warning Ouch!. If there is one thing that I am afraid of, it's electricity. I will be taking all precautions to rewire this properly and be safe not to burn down the house.
Update!! It's a small one, but it's still an update...
I finally got some paint for my mouse; so I did get about half of it painted. I still need to get some black paint for the rest. I put the mouse back together because I can't find my other one.
Anyways, here's some pics fer ya...
Here we have the primed version from before...
After a couple layers of blue Dupli-Color Metal Specks paint...
And reassembled...
Tomorrow, I plan to finish my side project with the toaster oven.
Until then. Later
Update!!
I finished the mouse today, and I plan to finish the contraption I am making with the toaster oven. I have some pics of the mouse fer ya below, and I'll post some pics of the 'completed' contraption later tonight. Maybe I'll post a vid if I have time.
The picures really do the mouse no justice. It's uber shiny and very reflective. Even though it's quite shiny, I may take some rubbing compound to it and see if I can get it any shiny-er. Let me know what you think.
Until tonight...
Later
I believe Dupli-Color is a brand of car paint, and in a rattle can.
Great job on the mouse man, +rep.
RIP Bucko
I'm pretty sure your right there .Maleficus.

This is out of a can. Dupli-color 'Metal Specks'. Found it at the local automotive store. This is the finest result of any paint job I have done previously. This took multiple coats of primer and colors, and wet-sanding between the coats. It took me 2 days to just paint the black on the mouse. This wasn't fixing errors either, just painting and sanding.
I know I promised to have my toaster contraption completed, but I have been extremely busy with work and home. Please forgive me..
I hope to get some more work done on it tomorrow and hopefully get it finished at the same time.
Thnks for the rep Mal. Glad you like it.
