Wireless networking

Can someone help me with this whole thing. Here is what I want bluetooth, wifi, and router. Just want someone to point me in the right direction. Or just link me to the right thing on newegg and the pci card to go with it. I am wireless illiterate and I don't really understand what I am reading in this realm.

I've never seen a card with both Bluetooth and 802.11 Wireless except in laptops.

For the router, wireless-G is your best bet. Link to most popular router...ever.

I suggest then getting a Linksys wireless-G PCI card to go with it. I'm not sure where in the house you'll be from the router so pick one with the type of antenna accordingly. (If far away from router, pick a wireless card with a large antenna)

I've never seen a card with both Bluetooth and 802.11 Wireless except in laptops.

MSI do one for some of their motherboards that does both. Have no idea if it would work in other setups but I doubt it even though its a standard PCI card.

Yep .. here it is ... available for £20 in the UK ~ $40 and it is NOT only compatible with MSI Mobo's as I had thought: The MSI Dual Network Card PCI WIFI + Bluetooth

I recently bought a new router (well my dad did).
We had the Linksys WRT54GL, where as when you don't think there is anything better he went out and bought a Belkin N1 (802.11n draft w/ MIMO) i set it up they never are as easy as the instructions say... Then id thought ill see how far i can go so i Grab my N95(802.11b), which usually only picked a signal up no further than my room. I got to the end of my garden, 3x the distance and about 1/2 signal strength, i could have gone further but couldn't be bothered to go for a walk... Went to the same place with my laptop (802.11g) full signal strength.

So if you have the cash look for a 802.11n router (preferably draft 2.0, but i doubt it really matters much)
