    Default Project: Computer Exhaustion

This is my first attempt at creating a case oout of something not intended as such, here is the link for pics,

    http://www.allanonmisty.zoomshare.co...0Modifications

I will be posting more pics as I get more finished, it is a fully functional computer right now, its a skt 754 64bit 2800+ sempron with an Asrock K8NF4G-SATA2 motherboard, onboard Nvidia6100 video, onboard sound, lan, usb...onboard everything as space is at a premium, in fact I had to remove the power supply case and mount the guts in the case so everything would fit it also has a 16X benq dvd dual layer burner. The final touch will be having the inside painted chrome yellow and the outside painted a dark metallic purple by a local body shop we do work for from time to time. I already have my next project in mind, a computer inside of a truck battery

Hm..... all I can really say is CABLES GALORE.

Cool Idea though...... although you don't want to be using that in a car again

well plexiglass is out of the question, too damn hard to make it conform to the shape, going to go with extruded aluminum....kinda like mesh....painted the same as the exterior of the case...

Hey I like it--"Found object modding" is a LOT of fun--and really challenging--good job!

Well fellas, the plexiglass idea is a no go, that stuff is not easy to get conformed to a curve! I have instead decided to use 1/4 inch mesh, and I also redesigned the mobo tray after the first didnt work out so well....I will post more pics as soon as i get a different image host...image shack is not very user friendly but its off to paint this friday! Thanks for the feedback!
