Well it's been rainly steadily and heavily for the past hour or so and the wind has been going up and down.

The news predicts it's going to be very bad, so much so that they are going commercial free for their first hour in the morning to cover what they expect to happen. Mostly it is going to hit Sydney and South of there. It's not supposed to be as bad at where I am North of Sydney, but we'll see what the night brings. It's just after 2am here and they reckon it will hit around 3am, which looking at the weather radar looks likely.

Wow... we're prolly gonna be getting our share of hurricanes here in NC too, not as bad as when they're in Florida, but I'm actually hoping for them. I love rough weather so long as it doesn't get life threatening with things such as tornadoes and storm surges. I loves me some rain, and winds too, but like I said, not life threatening and so long as the power doesn't go out so I can surf here and play PC games. ^_^

Note: Yes, I know I'm a bit odd.

It didn't turn out as bad as expected its 11:30am now the storm was heavy in the early hours and from my window I can see the see is pretty big. There aren't any trees down though or anything like that. The media was full like account for everyone in your family stay away from the windows blah blah...

It ended up only being some heavy rain here. It's all calm and quiet now.

That's good to know, glad you didn't get steamrolled again, that would have been even more disastrous than the last storm. I still want some rain here though. Me loves rain.

We had Horrible Lightning here so Bad last night. Was the worst I've ever seen!
It was a combination of both Lightning strikes, and The type that spreads out all over the sky.
Was so loud I though for sure it striking the house. My dog was glued to my leg. It was really freaking him out.
Was like that a few week ago to . .not near as bad, but it did split a tree off to the side of the house.

    Lasted like 3 Hours non-stop.
