What size case did you use for this rig? Would a Scythe Ninja fit in a Mid ATX tower? I have the Scythe Katana, and it does its job well, I'm just curious.

    Holy stalled thread batman!

I thought I should maybe make some sort of excuse about how I havent accomplished much on tis project for awhile.. but really.. I've been working and playing WoW too much.

Ryoken: It's an Antec P180B case.. as far as I know only available in one size.

You could say I'm a bit of an addict. I did some math.. *sigh*... I drank $250 worth of that stuff last month.

I'm cutting down though now.. one coffee a day right now.. and even though I'm not as amped as I was, I'm definitely feeling less stressed. There might be something to those claims of "caffeine has negative effects"... but I dont quite believe it yet.

Wow, you ordered almost all the exact same stuff I did. I ordered a Pentium D 940, 960, and Kingston 5300 677mhz RAM Sticks.

And I ordered my LEDs from the same person you did. Red, Blue, Green, Orange, White,
I got my Hundred for .99 and 10 Bucks to ship.

See my tutorial if you need help, those are the exact same LEDs. LED Tutorial

    FINALLY! An UPDATE!!! WOOHOO!!

I ordered a new side panel from Antec on Sunday.. I've decided to bite the bullet and go ahead and cut a window in this beast.. and add some better ram... and do some more cable management.. and some lighting internally.. and... and...

I ordered a new panel in case I butcher the window... I figured for $20, it's a good way to cover my arse. (Not literally.. side panel wouldnt fit in my pants)

I've got a design picked out for the window cut-out, so I'll get it scanned and posted up here right away.

I was wondering if you tried the Scythe Ninja without its fan?
I also have a p180 case and was wondering, with the two 120mm fans right next to the heat sink, do I really need another fan on the heatsink? (I currently use the Intel cooler since I am not overclocking...yet)
