Re: TBCS - Super Pi
I can tell you now, you're not going to find too much speed with the CeleronD
EDIT: What speed is your RAM running at?

Re: TBCS - Super Pi
Hey, it's a £20 CPU... I'm not looking for NASA... comapred to the K-6, it's a bleeding mean machine!

Re: TBCS - Super Pi
Hehe, it would be too slow for my liking. I basically can't live with a machine with low power..... that's why I'm getting a low powered tablet PC for my uni laptop xP
EDIT: DUE TO A SCREW UP ON MY PART, PLEASE USE THE MEMORY TAB IN CPU-Z, NOT THE SPD TAB. All tests are still valid.

Re: TBCS - Super Pi
Well, why not post some results too?
I use this for stability test, but not in the regular way.. I am checking to see for temperatures only, especially the rate at which they grow, keep stable and get down again. Also, note that I don't have any thermal paste between cpu and cooler
That explains the temp.. And about the times.. I wonder what I'll get with the x2 :p
at start..
at the end..
and after some testing..
Guess this beast will be number 1 in the amd section
Edit: I forgot, this is actually an XP 1700+, unlocked multiplier. So, it was 11*133>1463MHz at first, not it is 12.5*166>2075MHz, but because the clock generator is a tad higher, I get ~2080Mhz. It's almost a 42% OC
This is rock stable and issue free.
