Listening to WoW music, damn thats got to be the saddest thing I have ever heard. I thought playing the game was bad but listening to the music? Don't you get enough of the music when you play?

Music for video games is some of the most revolutionary and skillful music ever written. Nobuo Uematsu, the composer of Final Fantasy music, quite frankly, is a genius - his works rival the standard of Beethoven's and Mozart's back in their day. I'm studying video game music at school as music itself rather than background music to fit the video game, and it is just utterly mindblowing. I wouldn't hesitate to say that video game music is one of the highest calibres of music existing today.

I'm not saying that soundtrack music is crap, quite frankly I like the Final Fantasy music and even the stuff from Ragnarok Online. It's just the whole WoW concept. I have always never been a fan of it (having to buy the game+expansion AND paying a monthly fee) and kinda frown down on people that play it lol (well not really but you get what I mean). A few of my friends play it and I have seen how it can consume your life (seriously you should see one of my mates haha).

BTW: the new official meaning of WoW is "Waiting on Warhammer" lol
