    Default My radiostation FuG-01/ET

    Hi everybody!
I'd like to present my first mod here. It's a radiostation styled case with Enemy Territory (Wolfenstein) atmosphere. Everything works well. The voltmeter monitors the critical voltages i.e. +3,3V, +5V, +12V and the fan voltages (case fan, CPU fan and PSU fan) by the system of switches. CPU-fan and case-fan voltages are controlled by potentiometers. The ampermeter indicates the total current consumption. The phone doesn't work
I hope you will like it...
    Happy moddin'

Very, very nice work. The bullet holes are a nice touch, and very well implemented.

I'd love to see a work log for this!

Also, consider making the phone functional - adding a mic and single speaker wouldn't be over-hard, and it would be awesome to have it work for Skype or other VoIP programs.

I agree with Rankenphile--you could even take apart a USB mic/headset and utilize that for TeamSpeak or Skype

First thank you for your nice comments. I'm glad you like my mod.

The complete worklog of the project you can see here http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=87387 ... also the back of the case - anything special.

I'm thinking still about making the phone functional. There is everything inside the handset (mic and speaker) and the cables too. I don't use this channel for communicatnion so I had no preasure to instal it.

    Greetings

Very, very nice work. I really enjoyed the worklo, as well.

One comment I do have is that, with all of the aging you did on the case (very well, I might add) the rivets still seem awfully clean. Perhaps finding a way to tarnish their surfaces a bit might keep them from standing out as strongly as they do.

Please don't take that as criticism, however. I think the work you did is top-notch.
