"That man" 's father is my fathers son. You are your fathers son, and apparently an only child, so it's not a nephew. What about some sort of "step child" situation?
For that man's father, to be your fathers son, that would mean that your father is his grandfather.

Look into a mirror, now point at your self when you say "that mans father, is my father son". So your saying that "that mans father" which is your father since your pointing to yourself, is my fathers son. Which is you, since your talking about your father.
