    I guess they decided to go with a Shelby Mustang, which I am a bit torn about. Nice car but just doesn't give the the Knight Rider vibe. I saw a blurb saying that with the success of the Transformer movies, he will be able to shape shift. So we will just have to wait and see whats in store.

    Gizmodo covered the "Attack" version as well...

    Ok back on topic.. The R8 looks awsome. I think the TT Coupe is a pretty nice looking car as well.

    ok who ever decided to do that need to be shot in the head, like wtf! that is not night rider at all... i accepted the fact of it going from a Trans Am to a just as sexy, smooth flowing, Koenigsegg but to a POS crapstang?!?!?!?! What The ****.

    crapstang, lol.

    I don't think you can even compare a konigsegg to a mustang, like apples to oranges. I, of course, would obviously choose the koenigsegg. But the mustang... it has a vibe to it, unlike something an expensive thing from sweden has.

    But its probably far less fun to drive. Worse handling, worse accelleration and worse top speed.

    but you could go grocery shopping or take a drive across the country with a mustang. Its easy to recognize and more relatable than a koenigsegg.

    and its better marketing for the mustang too. Yep. I support their decision.

    oh, and the audi is a great choice. Love them.
    You love my sig.

    I guess I should have clarified some, its a Shelby GT500 Mustang, which is far from the grocery getters being sold on the lots.. 500+ HP in the 2008 model makes it no slouch. Its just that KITT needs to be something more sleek, bullet like, and futuristic. The Koenigsegg does fit that bill, but its Swedish. Do we really want KITT to sound like the Chef from the Muppet Show? .. J/K. Most likely budget had more to do with the choice then anything, but surely they could have at least done something like a new Z06 Corvette.

    I just remembered a buddy of mine from work in Topeka has an Audi S8, he loves it, but it stays in the garage most of the time so I haven't gotten a ride in it yet.

    I can't decide on which car I like better. They both pull it off pretty well in their own ways. Must of been a tough decision for sure though, to switch from sleek and sexy to beefy and... beefy. lol

    I'm going to say it depends on the actor. I'm pretty sure that you couldn't find a guy who would look good driving both of those cars. It seems very much one or the other. Like comparing James Bond and The Fast and the Furious.
    People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.

    The stang looks like a BEAST, i would love to have it, but i think it fails for the role in the movie.. Not even close to the original, cept the color =/

    GT500 = live axle

    live axle = Old

    Old = ****ty handling.

    I'd rather have the new roushe. Sexier too, in my opinion.

    Anyways, back on track... I signed up at an Audi forum for all of my questions and to get some opinions but it seems I came across a groupie forum instead of actual owners so after a whole day passed...

    my thread had 52 views, 0 replies lol...

    EDIT:: Woah, there's a filter on the threads now? Or did a mod... mod my post? :p

    I agree. The wifes outback wagon with crappy tires/tyres handles better than my GT with new tires/tyres.

    Yes, I noticed the filter got turned back on... ****

    The Konigsegg CCR is pretty sexy.

    Basically all american "sports cars" are running on suspension from the Roman Empire, which is appropriate I guess, since they were the first civilization to use Miles as a measurement.

    I quite like Audi cars. They're modest, rather good looking but not excessive, and some of them are quite powerful. I've ridden in the twin turbo S4... That was fun. And it was luxurious too, nice leather, good features, etc.

    I'd say try to find a used S4 or maybe an RS4 if you want to go quickly without looking too posh.

    I also happen to know that Audi's 4wd systems are phenominal... rolling starts at ~20mph in heavy rain in the S4 accelerated quite nicely to 70mph at a rather brisk pace without slipping or thinking of anything of it.
