Is it a 6800 ultra, or a 6800GT? Or jsut plain ol' 6800?
A quick way to find out is just to look at your outputs. do you have mroe than one output jack? If so, 99% of the time it will support dual monitors. The standard 6800s support one DVI and one Analog output, the ultras support two DVI. (dvi is blue, usually, analog is white)
well it has an analog and digital but i am going to get a digital to analog adapter but i mean can the card physilic handel it without dyeing? and other wise what are good crts to use in dual i was looking a trinitons
Yes, the card can physically handle it. Yes, Triniton monitors are very good quality.
ok thanks
At home I run a 6600GT and it has dual dvi's that runs 2 LCD flat panels with no problems, and at work I run a GeForce 5600 with 2 19" Trinitrons (one with a DVI to RGB adapter), so your 6800 will be just fine..
BTW
The DVI's are white and the analog 15 pin RGB's are blue.Originally Posted by Rankenphile

Lol, thx
I'm running a FX5600XT, nd it runs dual monitors without a hitch!!
Before you go buying a DVI to VGA adapter check because one came free with my 6600GT!
Same with my FX5600XT....... although I've lost it since then............
