If you are going Vista I strongly recommend getting 4GB of RAM.

Well at idle my rig uses about 1.2GB of RAM leaving only 800MB for other utilities and games to use. I have had many of my games crash to desktop due to my rig running out of RAM. This isn't the OS fault though, it's mainly the way the game was coded. Take BF2 for example, when the game is running out of RAM to utilize it will dump the biggest running application, being the game itself. BF2142 is a lot worse for this issue. I intend to get another 2GB of RAM for my rig after my birthday in April. You will save yourself a lot of hassle and will help your OC better and will keep things running a lot smoother into the future.

Good to hear. Um about the Intel OCing, yes you can do it. It depends on what grade mobo you are using. The 6*0 and 7*0i all have over clocking. Most new and old mobos have tweaking options, it just depends what you are looking on doing and how old the mobo is.
