Looking for a digital camcorder...

We already own a nice DSLR camera and love it but it doesn't do video. We have an excellent Hi-8 camcorder but its a pain to use, bulky, the battery is never charged when we need it, we never need anywhere near a whole tape's duration of video, and who wants to screw with tape?

We are looking for a simple digital camcorder, just something to capture kid stuff mainly, the cheaper and smaller the better. A good rule of thumb is that if it comes with a strap that goes over your hand when you use it, it's too big.

Just to give you an idea what we want. VGA resolution would be adequate, though obviously more is better. This particular camera will only use up to 2GB cards so again, more is better.

Does anyone know of another make/model that might be better or comparable to this one?
