Default ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 AMD 785G HDMI ATX AMD... issues?

    Thinking about this board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131398

But then I read the reviews and I notice this little tidbit...

This board has a major flaw in that there is an issue with the High Precision Event Timer function and Windows 7. Due to this issue, the OS cannot process what time it is and very strange things will occur during the operation of Win 7. For instance: the clock minutes tick by in seconds, the sleep mode pops on in seconds (due to the clock moving quickly), single key strokes are registered as hitting the key hundreds of times in a row, etc. Simply put, the error is crippling. The worst part, is that most boards which support HPET have an option in the bios to disable HPET, but this board does not have that option, and I have already updated the bios and tried multiple "fixes". From what I have read ASUS seems to be ignoring this problem, so I'll be looking into returning this board and buying another brand.
Is this guy just blowing smoke or is this a real issue?
