its getting horrible reviews, but people arent taking it for what it is. its a duke nukem game, its supposed to be mindless fun.

That right there is enough to make me think twice about buying this one.

I wonder how many people that gave it a bad review played the originals, as you say it's all about mindless fun and a good dose of bad taste so it's like a lot of games really and it will be a bit of nostalgia for some people and nostalgia can often be forgiving, it's been about 14 years in the making so I hope it does reasonably well as the various companies and people that persevered with it deserve some credit for sticking with it
