I was looking at ordering the stickers for the sides and other small things, comes out to be $54 which im not wanting to spend that on it, i dont think it will look to originsl either, so i decided i will go with the stencil. Easier said then done.

First i tried to cut out the text carefully with a razor blade, definatly time consuming cutting these letters out on a piece of paper. Only cut a few letters out just to test and see how it works

I like this look a lot over the stickers, i think they would keep making these ammo boxes looking too new, so im definatly going the stencil way, just not going to spend hours on cutting these letters, numbers and shapes out of paper, too time consuming

So i have decided to go with just buying a stencil tomorrow and seeing how this will turn out

I will go with the smaller stencils. 10mm high letters

Have now taped up the bottom box with even spacing so i can get onto the stencils tomorrow and hopefully have some more progress to show.

Went out and bought the stencil that i needed, came in a pack of 10mm and 20mm. I went with the 20mm becuase the 10 was too small and not noticable enough, is larger then original but still looks good.

Coming out really nice, im happy that i went with the stencils, the stickers would of not looked nice at all. Stencil looks authentic

Updates

Finishing off the stencil work on the bottom box, i decided to leave all over spray and small marks on it, it definatly adds to the effect of the ammo boxes. Starting to get close to finishing this case.

Time for some more updates have been busy with other things recently.

Just installing the newest dashboard by USB some reason its connection to Xbox Live but not wanting to update properly .

Found out with the disc drive sitting up the way it is, it does not like having no disc in it. Small noise comes from the disc drive when it tries to spin up a disc when nothing is in there. never noticed it before. Shouldnt be a problem, I don't usually take games out and not replace with another one.

Going to re wire the buttons at the back tomorrow, just to hard to unplug them the way they are. Wires are all crossed over so it makes a bit of a hassel. Need a Male to Female USB all so.

Recently got a Full HD Video Camera so i will get some video up in the next day or so, time to see it in action.

Couldnt see this taking much more then a couple of days to complete. The on to the next mod, im thingink Xbox 360 Slim Portable ( Laptop ) or Water Cool the Slim in a small Micro ATX Computer Case or HTPC. Getting ideas together for that and will have a new topic once the planning goes ahead

Sorry about the lack of updates, been extreamly busy. Has been an extreamly busy 14 months. Got engaged, married and now having a baby in that space of time.

I will take some better final photos to complete the project, nicer location and ill get some Army supplies and props to make a nice photoshoot. It will be the perfect way to finish the build off, i wouldnt know how much money i have put into this build now, it doesnt really matter, im happy with how it has all turned out, i learnt a tonne of things, never worked with this kind of stuff before and i taught myself a lot of it myself.
