    Default Project (Insert Name Here)

I've been browsing the forums, and have been inspired to mod my case, but due to lack of funds and support from my parents, all that I can do is dream about it, so here are my ideas:

    The Case

I want to take all the black areas and paint them cobalt blue.

The two blue "rails" running vertical on the front will be painted in some sort of a metallic green-grey color, and I also want to run some veridian cathodes in the grooves on them before they're painted (I don't know if they have veridian, but it would be cool).

I have two blue fans in the vents on the left side of the case, those will stay, but I want to cut another hole for a green fan near the front of the case, at about mid height. It would have a modified version of the Rammstein cross logo with an "A" instead of the "R," for the grill.

In the back there's the 120mm fan, which I would replace with a blue or white one with chrome on the fan blades. I have this heatsink, which would also most likely get a white fan with chrome blades on it, if so, the 120mm would just have a blue one.

The right side panel would probably have some sort of runes or something similar that looks cool on it, probably a large Greek letter or a larger version of the modified Rammstein cross logo on it, maybe even with a window in its shape. If there were to be a window there, I would run some blue cathodes or LED strips along the inside for the color effect. To take it a step further, I'd probably have blue lights along the left and right sides of the window with green on the top and bottom.

Sound cool? I think it does.

Any suggestions would be great for when I get the cash, dremel, patience, etc.

Oh, and I know , but I'm too lazy to host any pics on imageshack or somewhere, this should help somewhat for the cross shape, if you look around you should be able to find their logo.

EDIT: Here's an ashtray in their logo if it helps, and no, I don't smoke.

ANOTHER EDIT: That stupid f*king funnel on the one door is on Kevin's (progbuddy's) project whatever case.

Sound pretty kwl and I like the ash tray it would make a sweet side panel. For money just take what you can get maybe try and get some sponsers or something. A job is just a thought good luck with your ideas.

Thanks for the tips/advice. I'd have fun doing this, especially the part where I'm looking at my awesome completed project. I do have a job, I just have some unexpected expenses, etc. that came up a little while ago. I also have college to think about, so this can stay here safely until I get the money and have time when I have the money... I do a sketchup of this, but I 1) have no idea how to use it or where to find it, and 2) I'm a little too lazy and worn out from what's been going on...

I wouldn't need too much stuff, just a dremel, someone to draw up the design for me (I can't draw worth crap), and a couple cans of spray paint, and a can of primer. And the fans... I would have someone pull this sucker apart though, I tend to do things the right way and screw stuff up at the same time... it makes no sense but yeah, this beast is running good, so I'm happy

I kinda started rambling again, ah well...

    Here's Sketchup for you.
There are tutorials in the program that will help you use it and you can find already made computer parts to put in your virtual case on the web.

EDIT: There's an active Sketchup thread on this forum right now so check that out too.

For the case? Nah, I'm most likely not going to mod it so there wouldn't be much point... thanks though.

That sure is some neat looking ashtray.

It would give off a "Metal" (as in hardcorey) industrial feel if you kept with that style.

Very cold, very heavy. I like it

Glad that you do. I may actually get around to doing this later in the summer if I get ahold of some extra cash and someone to pull my PC apart for me so I don't f'k it up, like I almost have numerous times, lol.
