Modding is not about "efficient use of time" or (as the old codgers put it) "wasting time"... it is about personal self expression.
And you nailed that byotch in spades!
    Sick! +rep

I wanna see it done with the shield on it.

well.. some of you guys wanted to see the helmet finished in action. well. ive got a couple pics taken with my cell phone at work. so.. they arent the greatest pics. but.. you get the jist.

oh and i should mention, the paint is phenominal too. these pics are after a week of use with constant spatter of steel hitting it. not a mark on the helmet yet, and it still gleams (when i wipe the smoke off.....)

so.. just a couple pics of it on my tool box, both sides

and i had a buddy take a pic of it on me...

and, for those who remember me sayin i had to use an airpack attached to my helmet... well.. here is a pic of it. i plan on makin it match.

oh yah. and if anyone asks, no, my setup isnt cheap. the company paid for half my welding gear, and it still cost me $700 bucks. just a battery for my airpack costs $250.

and the shop i work in is not as dark and dingy as it looks in the pictures. its actually really neat. just looks dirty where i work cause ive been welding steel for the past 3 months now.
